When quizzed NTR what was the first reaction of his wife after the screening of Baadshah, the actor replied, "Pranathi enjoyed the first half, especially Kajal's episode and the complete new package. But somewhere she had the fear as Srinu Vytla mark comedy hasn't arrived until then. I even asked her during the interval 'How is it?', then she replied 'I would talk only after the completion of the film'. It was after the end of second half, I have seen my wife jumping with joy for the first time".

Tarak's mother got emotional during the NTR dialogue in the climax and the tears rolled down her eyes. She even hold the director's hand tight at that time as a mark of respect.
